This is a new vocal and mix of the song for the Infloresce charity festival compilation at Battle of the Bits which raised funds to shelter transgender people and support their right to exist. There is no excuse for abandoning family and friends for something that has no consequence for anyone else.

The meaning of the lyric is about the cycle of cliques that seem to be in charge of the music scenes I participate in, and how some bad actor always seems to come along, be ignored at first, then ruin the clique, after which a new clique forms in its ashes and we do it all over again. I always feel like an outsider to these cliques. I don't feel so bad once I learn they weren't all that great after all.
